Best Chocolat Cake : Wonderful Recipe

I have to tell you about this cake, it is… WONDERFUL! A soft, chocolatey texture but above all with each bite you have this crunchiness that upsets the softness of the cake and that, friends… Believe me, it’s endless to eat! So what is this crunchy? It’s a delicious minute streusel with cocoa but also almond powder. If you are looking for a gourmet cake, original but above all that is neither stuffy nor too sweet, this recipe is for you! Cocoa streusel

Ingredients :

75g cold butter

75g cane sugar

75g ground almonds

63g flour type t55

13g cocoa powder

1 pinch of salt

Pour all the ingredients into a bowl, mix together and rub the butter and dry ingredients with your fingertips, you can also do this with a pastry robot and leaf utensils. You will thus obtain a chocolate streusel, with this sandy texture. Store everything in the freezer.

The chocolate cake

Ingredients :

250g whole eggs (5 medium-sized eggs)

75g of honey

100g of sugar

75g ground almonds

120g flour

25g cocoa

1 half sachet of yeast

120g full cream or fresh cream

100g of butter &

55g dark chocolate

In a salad bowl or in the bowl of your food processor, pour the eggs, sugar and honey, whisk until the eggs whiten and obtain a frothy texture. Then add the dry ingredients, ground almonds, flour, cocoa and baking powder. Whisk again


Melt the butter and the dark chocolate, during this time pour the liquid cream into the cake batter then once melted the butter and the chocolate. Whisk until the batter is completely smooth. Your cake batter is ready!



Preheat your oven to 160 degrees. Butter and flour your cake tin.



Pour the cake batter, you will see it is divine! Collect the streusel and place it in the middle of the cake, here I only put half of the streusel, to put the second part at the end of cooking. Bake your cake for 45-50 minutes, it will depend on your mould. After about thirty minutes of cooking, I add more streusel and I close until the end of cooking. Once the 45-50 minutes have passed, take your cake out and let it cool before unmolding. Even more gourmet? When the cake has cooled, place a few chocolate chips on top
